David LaChapelle: the photographer of un-photographable.

With his irreverent style, original, humorous, David LaChapelle is considered one of the most brilliant photographers of all time. He moved young to New York, he was noted by Andy Warhol who offered him his first job for Interview Magazine. The experience with Warhol was able to open all the doors, his talent and personality did the rest and in a short time David became a celeb like those he photographed. With his photograph damn pop (which I love as I love chewing gum-pop more than that), LaChapelle lays bare the weaknesses and contradictions of modern society; brightly colored plastic images, apparently easy to read, denounce the continuous pursuit of pleasure, the morbid relationship with superfluous and everything is well. Thanks to its load and playful style combined with the glamorous patina that characterizes his art, depicts the obsession with consumption, being able not only to attract the attention of the public, but to paste to his work. Instinctive and emotional, always at the service of fashion, LaChapelle can not be considered only a fashion photographer: it is rather a modern Michelangelo in pop that, with his photograph rich and cultured, reworked and revolutionized the art of contemporary photography . And now, enjoy his most evocative images, the ones that not only I, but surely even you, loved most!

No, forse no.
