As a young woman she started working for a New York agency trying to escape poverty and a tough familiar situation. As skinny as sensual, at the age of thirteen she steps on her first catwalks. In 1947 she gets to a turning point, the cover of Vogue Paris starts that quick and extraordinary rise that brings her to work with the best photographers of the whole world. At the age of sixty she still ruled on the catwalks. The white hair that frames her sharp-cornered face, is her trade mark. Beautiful, cold and haughty, still today she enchants the fashion system appearing on the covers of the most important fashion magazines.
