3. a quali abitudini culturali vado in contro?

How many times have you been on a business trip, and at the moment of packing your bags, you had absolutely no idea of what to bring with you? This happened to everyone, even to me thousands of times: anyway, by travelling a lot I learnt some “technics” and how to plan all the requisite, for being always ready. Here’s the three questions to which you’ll have to answer every time: 1 What will be the weather like? 2 To how many, and of which kind, events am I going to presence? 3 which cultural habits am I going to find there?

Once you’ve answered all these questions you’ll be ready. You should know that you’d better choose non-creasing fabrics, rather bring basic clothes easily interchangeable, and avoid new shoes and high heeled ones (your feet should not be a problem). My advice is bringing always a couple of jackets of good (or excellent) quality (they can make the difference in an outfit even if only combined with a pair of jeans), three or four silk shirts with neutral colors, a pair of dresses with 60’s cut (at leas one LBD), two or three pairs of trousers with sartorial cut, a pair of slippers and a pair of comfortable shoes. And then a lot of small accessories, which will mark positively your outfit and won’t take up much room in your bag: foulards, pins, belts, an important ring, some bangles and a clutch for the evening. More advices? Give vent to your imagination: a simple day-outfit can be “transformed” in an evening one, only untying your hairs, using a make up a bit stronger on the eyes and lips, and taking off your jacket, so:only shirt with a foulard tied around your neck. Last advice: always be sure of having toothbrush, passport and charger for phone and laptop! So you’re ready to fly away!

with love, Elena
