The T-shirt at cinema. What else?

O James Dean?

White, immaculate, super sexy but mostly unisex, the white t-shirt is the masterpiece of wardrobe who, together with jeans, is and will be found in the wardrobe of everyone for ever. The one that comes to my mind is the model worn by Jane Seberg in the masterpiece film  “A bout de souffle”, where with an androgynous but very feminine look look  at the same time, the protagonist wears it like a second skin. There were then Jane Birkin  in “Je t’aime moi non plus”, or the legendary BB in “Babette Goes to War”, up to the most recent “Notting Hill” where the funny Rhys Ifans wears the worst written to wear on a first date: “u’re the most beautiful woman in the world”. And those worn by Marlon Brando? O James Dean? And the romantic version, worn by Ali McGraw in “Love Story”? Do you remember it? Or that of “Thelma & Louise” alias Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis? There are so many examples and I have chosen them below for you, those that have made it a true icon of the wardrobe. On the other hand, if King George is a “t-shirt addict” there will be a reason, right?
