ABOUT

Ciao ragazzi,

come primo post ho pensato di scrivere qualcosa su me stessa.

Hello guys,

In this first post I thought I’d write something about myself. But how difficult is it to talk about yourself, without being boring and obvious! Some of you throughout the past years already know many aspects of my life, by following me on TV and online, so you know what I decided to do? I “self-interviewing,” asking myself all the questions I would want a hypothetical fashion journalist to ask me.

Question: When was your love for fashion born?

Answer: In my childhood I’ve always been surrounded by fashion magazines such as “Elle”, “Marie Claire” or “Cosmopolitan”, which my mom bought regularly. She has always been a lover of beauty, and I followed  the footsteps of mother … I remember that when I was eleven, I dreamed of becoming a top model, I watched on TV the Versace and Chanel fashion shows, and with my girlfriends we tried to imitate the movements of Claudia (Schiffer) and Naomi (Campbell). Then at age twelve I bought my first copy of “Elle”, at the age of thirteen it was the turn of “supermodel Elle” and fourteen, “Vogue” took overmy life.

Q: Why a fashion blog?

A: Today is the fastest and most direct way to “speak out” in a world where the competition is fierce, from a journalistic point of view, and you automatically become the “editor of yourself.”

Q: Which designers inspire you most?

A: I’ve always felt a love for the “first Versace”, the one designed by the much missed Gianni; I love also the design of Tom Ford, the elegance of Chloè and Saint Laurent, the femininity of Blumarine. Of course to mention all of them would be a problem, however you will get to know my taste if you want to follow me in my new journey!

Q: the”fashion motto”, you feel closer to you?

A: Two. “Less is more”, quote from Coco Chanel, who before leaving the house, advised her customers to look in the mirror and always remove an accessory to their look. Also a famous sentence from Saint Laurent, which states something like: “everything that becomes fashionable, is already out of fashion.”

I don’t have anything else to add to my introduction, for now this is all… until tomorrow’s appointment!
