Audrey Hepburn, the legend. (part 1)

Quando il pensiero vola a lei, mi viene in mente sempre uno dei più conosciuti film della storia del cinema mondiale: “Colazione da Tiffany”. Come non ricordare la scena della colazione a cornetto e cappuccino, di fronte alla gioielleria più rinomata al mondo, in un’immagine così attuale che pare scattata ieri e non cinquantanni fa? Adoro l’abito di Givenchy che poi farà la storia del little black dress, adoro le sue perle bianche intorno al collo di cigno, adoro la sua eleganza innata. Lei sì che è stata un’icona di stile e lo rimarrà per sempre, con i suoi capri pants e le ballerine, con le sue gonne a ruota molto new look, con la sua mini coda di cavallo stile ragazza della porta accanto e il suo eyeliner perenne sulle palpebre, mai volgare, sempre bon ton.  E come non ricordare l’abito a fiori indossato in “Vacanze Romane”, che secondo i più, ancor oggi, è considerato tra i più bei look dei film hollywoodiani. Ho scelto una serie delle immagini che preferisco della star belga; alcune scattate sui set dei film, alcune “private”, alcune rubate dai vary parties…

When the thoughts fly to her, she remindes me  one of the most popular film ever in the history of world cinema: “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. How can we forget the scene of the breakfast with croissant and cappuccino in front of one of the most famous jewelry in the world,in an image that seems taken yesterday instead of fifty years ago? I love her Givenchy dress, which will enter in the history of little black dress, I love her white pearls around the swan-neck, I love her innate elegance. She was for real  an icon of style and will remain forever in this status, with her ​​capri pants and ballet flats, with her skirts very new look, with her mini ponytail  girl next door style and her permanent eyeliner on the eyelids, never vulgar, always bon ton. And how can we forget the flowery dress worn in “Roman Holiday”, which, even today, according to most people, is considered among the most beautiful look of Hollywood films. I chose a series of images that I like the most of the Belgian star, some shot on film sets, some “private”, some stolen from parties …

    Mitica Audrey, quando mio padre viveva a Roma da giovane, la incontro’ ad un bar e prese un caffe’ con lei :)) a quei tempi era tutto diverso dai tempi d’oggi eh eh. Me ne parla sempre, rimasto molto affascinato da lei.
