The n.8 rule of a lady

Come fare a camminare in modo sexy e senza inciampare?

Women, real women, never have enough… don’t misunderstand me, I’m talking about shoes: not any kind of shoe, but Shoes with a capital S. Stilettos, Mary Jane, Pumps, Platforms, the more the merrier. As long as the heel is at least 5 cm high. Flats and sneakers don’t count. We are talking about true heights here. Shoes that once you wear them you get dizzy from how tall you are, and after one hour you’ve been wearing them your feet start to hurt and getting blisters.

But maybe not all women, even the ones that buy their shoes from Manolo Blahnik or from www.asos.it, know that heels were invented in ancient Egypt. It’s no news for the historians among my followers, to find out that the heel was copyrighted by the people of ancient Egypt. It’s been said that the butchers of those times asked the shoemakers to create custom shoes for them with a small heel in order to not get their feet dirty of blood from the meat which would regularly drip on the floor. Further on in history, the Sun King (Louis XIV of France), forced the royals to always wear red heels in order for them to be distinguished from the rest of the “peasants”.  Almost 400 years later, a French man by the name of Christian Louboutin, colored his soles of a striking red blood color, creating the most famous (and beautiful) shoes of the world. The heel was revisited by the great mind of monsieur Roger Vivier, teacher of Christian Louboutin, who masters to concept of the modern heel.  With the creation of the stiletto and the inner heel in metal, he revolutionized female fashion.

The most frequently asked question? How can one have a sexy walk without stumbling on the floor? The answer can only be one: exercise, exercise, exercise!!!

  1. …. Senza parole….
